Important Dates to Remember When Registering to Vote

Voter Registration Deadlines

Voter Registration Deadline is 29 days prior to any election.  Any political party change must be made at least 29 days prior to a partisan primary election in order to be valid in that election.

Closed Primary Election

Florida is a Closed Primary Election State.  In Florida only voters registered with a political party may vote in that party's primary election.  All registered voters, regardless of party affiliation, may vote on issues and nonpartisan races.  Examples on nonpartisan races include school board and judicial races.

Registration Deadline - April 4, 2022

Early Voting - April 25 - April 30, 2022 (MON - SAT)

Election Day - May 3, 2022

Primary Election

Registration Deadline - July 26, 2022

Early Voting - August 8 - 20, 2022  (MON - SAT)

Election Day - August 23, 2022

General Election

Registration Deadline - October 10, 2022

Early Voting - October 29 - November 5, 2022 (SAT - SAT)

Election Day - November 8, 2022
