The Florida Parole Commission’s Website offers an online Civil Rights Restoration Search, so you can determine whether or not your rights have been restored.  Be sure to search under all variations of your name, including nicknames.

According to Florida Statutes, a felony conviction affects the right to vote in Florida (Sections 97.041, 97.053, 97.055, F. S.).  A person convicted of a felony is not eligible to vote in Florida unless his or her voting rights have been restored.  To vote in Florida, a person who has been convicted of a felony must:

  • Have his or her voting rights restored, and
  • Register to vote in Florida by the book closing deadline.

Please Note: Before you can have your rights restored, you must fill out the following Clemency Application.

After confirming that your rights have been restored, you must register to vote by completing a Voter Registration Application.
